no heat call customer was down by the furnace and a smell like a burning smell found system off upon. Set thermostat to heat and checked operation. Error code was registering on the board pressure switch code. No operation from inducer assembly check voltage to motor. 115 removed ineucer to inspect wheel, wheel is very hard to spin. New inducer is needed. Called manufacturer and order new motor. Customer paid in full for repairs. We will be coming back tomorrow between 8 and 12.
The noise issue was a couple of registers in living room and Dino room. High velocity, The air handler was ramping up to a high blower speed because the aux heat was configured without a lockout set point. And droop was set to 00. So the equipment would run up with aux heat and therefore ramp up blower speed. I set aux heat lockout to 45°F. The unit will only run at high blower speed if it drops below 45°F now. I also checked outdoor unit wiring and for any abnormal sounds. Ok Explain p d that there is a 5 minute compressor lockout period to protect compressor. So once outdoor unit shuts off there is a 5 min period before it will energize again. System operating well at this time.

Zone dampers are above drywall ceiling. 16x25x1 filter in good condition Inspected burners, heat exchanger, inducer assembly, pressure switches, Cleaned flame sensor and verified operation Ignitor in good condition, measured ohm value Confirmed manifold gas pressure Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors. There is no surge protection. Left email estimate. Inspected drain. There is a wet switch but AC drain has no ez trap or overfill protection switch so I left estimate for EZ trap. Measured temperature rise and static pressure. Combustion and smoke tests pass Furnace operating well at this time.

Upon arrival for oil maintenance I changed the filter, nozzle, and strainer. Filter was in bad condition for a year. Tank is underground so this is indicating issues with tank. Tested transformer. Replaced electrode kit. Unit was terribly sooted up. I cleaned heat exchanger, flue, and chimney. Turned on hot water and all three zones. Bled the air out of the oil line. Checked operation of the circulator pump and amps. Checked operation and response of aquastat. Tested all three zones and zone valves. Performed and combustion test and it was terrible. 3% 02 and 700 CO ppm. Adjusted airband and cleaned hair and dryer lint from it. Achieved a much better reading after making adjustments. Performed a smoke test as it was a 1. Unit is in normal operation at this time.
Technician added check payment twice on invoice #43050. Invoice created to zero out credit on profile.

On arrival found indoor unit for second floor was Calling for cooling. But the outdoor was not coming on. Customer had said she smelled something burning over the weekend was going to call to address. The burning smell had nothing to do with the new system. New system just had the outdoor breaker trip tightened up the breaker connections, No charge. Did find on second floor system, had a failed Start assist kit quoted for new kit and collected for diagnostic. Both systems are back up and running at this time service .

I checked inducer operation and ensured hose port was clear. I checked gas pressures. Checked air temperature rise. Performed combustion test. Unit is in normal operation at this time.
