Job Locations and Reviews
Performed QA on Trane Gas Furnace install. Reviewed programming and settings on unit. Tested in heating mode and measured gas pressure and combustion while unit was in high stage. While testing the gas fittings, found a leak at the nipple connection going to the bottom of the shut off gas valve. Had to repipe the section of gas piping because I could not get the old fittings apart. Installed new drip leg with new shut off valve. Checked all fittings to make sure there were no more leaks. Completed checklist form in system. No additional follow up needed.
Performed precision oil boiler tune up on crown oil boiler. Replaced rf1 oil filter. Replaced nozzle. Brushed and vacuumed smoke pipe and heat exchanger. Replaced nozzle, oil filter me pump strainer. Check oil flow ok. Test transformer and adjust electrodes ok. Check aqua stat setting set to 180 water pressure ok. Cycle boiler couple times. During today’s visit noticed some parts that will need to replace for safety purposes. Also adding barometric flue damper to help boiler with draft. Repair valve is very hard to turn, expansion tank not feeder water correctly. Boiler is 20 years. Customer has gas in the house. Would recommend upgrading system to high efficiency gas boiler. Office to follow up with customer.

Performed QA on Trane AC/Coil Installation. They said they have used the AC since the install since it is an office building and it has been working well. Turned system to cooling and measured refrigerant charge, static pressure, and temperature splits. Measured amp draw on the Outdoor unit. Filled Condensation pump and tested discharge. Tested the ez trap safety. Reviewed the fan speed setting for Cooling. Completed checklist form in system.
Check up on a heat pump system. Checked the air filter and found good. Checked the wiring connections and the voltages. Checked the thermostat in all heating modes, started with electric heat. Inspected the amps for the heating elements and checked the blower amps and the operation. Took electric heat temps at the return and supply. Performed a outdoor BTU output for the heat pump. Checked the outdoor unit, wire connections and the voltages. Inspected the components and tested the amps draws for the compressor and the fan motor. The heat pump is in good working order.
We did the tuneup and service humidifier last week. Customer started to use humidifiers and started to notice some water leaking from both humidifier. Check operation upon arrival ran both humidifiers and noticed water starting to leak at the bottom of the reservoir. Check water feeder for first floor and noticed was not connected all the way in. Fix issues by inserting it all the way in and re test operation ok humidifier is now woke it fine. In second floor had to change 35 pad. 45 was installed and was not holding water. Ran both humidifier after repairs test operation after 10 minutes of running no water leaking. No charge
Replacement of blower motor under warranty. Blower motor was tested as failed and needs replaced, pierce phelps was contacted and motor is in stock and unit is still under warranty, have to return tomorrow for repairs and to complete tune up. Half of the money for labor was paid. Per Tune up on trane gas furnace, checked ignition related components,gas press, combustion, blower, and inducer motor. No issues with u it at this time.
Set new furnace in place under existing coil. Adapted to existing gas line and checked for leaks. Made all high and low voltage connections to unit including intermatic surgeprotector. Wired safety in series to break 24v R call to thermostat. Adapted to existing vent pipes. Repuoed condensate drain to new condensate pump with new Vinyl. Cleaned work area performed test put procedures and reviewed installation with homeowner.
Removed existing inducer assembly. Installed new inducer motor. Used high temperature caulk to seal behind inducer motor and collector box tested operation. No water leaks found. Perform combustion test. Gas furnace is working fine at Time of service.
Fully assassinate heating situation. Found thermostat lit up by batteries, but no 24 V at r&c. Went up in attic and found that after plugging in disconnect when wire comes into furnace, black L1 hot wire was burned off at wire nut. Rec cut power wire and installed new wire nut. Tested operation of gas furnace. Performed combustion test. Gas furnace is working fine at time of service.
