Fully assessed 2013 Amana hybrid system with heat pump and back up gas furnace. Other company mentioned that the blower wheel had some wobble to it. Examined blower motor as it was running and found that the blower wheel did have some wobble to it and this repair would require replacement of variable speed blower motor And blower wheel. This repair and itself would be almost $2000. Looked over heat exchanger and found a decent amount of rusting corrosion inside the heat exchanger did not see any holes but definitely a lot of corrosion. Went outside to outdoor heat pump to check operation of heat pump system. Found compressor did start a little rough one time when I cycled system. After fully assessing system would recommend replacement. Set up appointment to give a replacement quote.
