Job Locations and Reviews
Formed quality assurance on recently installed train communicating heat pump system. Checked over all the electrical wiring and connections. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures at indoor and outdoor unit. Checked overall penetrations. Tested condensate drain with water checked over all the settings in Trane Link thermostat and made sure everything was correct. Talk to customer about any concerns or problems. System is working fine at quality assurance.

Removed air handler and heat pump, installed air handler and heat pump, 30x60 drain pan, flushed lineset, cut new attic hatch for unit to fit, installed condensate to gravity drain, ez trap and wet switch, installed thermostat and EIM board, adapted to supply and return, installed 15kw heat kit, installed disconnect with surge protector and ECM motor protector, connected high and low volt wires 7-18-24 Luis return visit to start up system. Set up programming on thermostat check refrigerant charge added some refrigerant to achieve correct sub cooling levels. Added union on drain line to flush with nitrogen then water ok. check air flow food splits. Test all three stages of electric heat ok showed customer how to use thermostat and left manual by controller.
Estimate
Fully assessed no cooling situation. Found 1993 heat pump. Gave system a call from the thermostat and found air handler came on but not outdoor heat pump system. Homeowner has been running off of emergency heat for the past few years. Performed megometer test on compressor, compressor has failed. System is not repairable , also found thermostat wiring torn up out side and suctionline kinked. Recommended replacement of entire heat pump system. Duct work in attic was also not done correctly. Tony to give replacement options.
Found system locked out on an 04 code ( locked rotor). Tested capacitor, capacitor was good. Recommended installing a hard start kit, installed a tk05 hard start kit with potential relay. Reset system and tested operation. A/c is working fine at time of service.
Met with owner. Described what he’s trying to accomplish talked about possible solutions. Will be emailing quote to customer.
Performed ac tuneup. Set for cooling at thermostat and began checking all electrical connections and amp draw to indoor unit, checked temp split across coil, checked for surge protection on motor, no motor protection. there is surge protection on outdoor unit. Checked and changed 413 filter. Checked refrigerant pressures outside, inspected coil and fan compartment, we checked capacitor and amp draw to outdoor unit. System is running fine at time of tune up. Cycle unit couple times ok. noticed water heater is from 2014. Provided estimate for replacement.
Replaced outlet with gfci version, insulated pipes and adjusted the orientation of the CIRC pump.
Repair water leak from installation of new boiler. 1/2 cpvc to 3/4 pex. Check water flow and make sure no more leaks, customer has other questions regards installation precess. He would like to discuss them with production manager (quality assurance visit)
