Arrived for no heat on an oil fired boiler . We were here yesterday for a maintenance check up . I checked the oil filter and the strainer and found good , I inspected the nozzle assembly and found good . Found when bleeding the unit it had a lot of air when bleeding . The line comes out of the top of the oil tank , it goes up and over about 10 ft and then down towards the ground to feed the oil filter. Finally got fuel to the system . It fired right up . I made sure the domestic water got hot and made sure all zones were heating . The system cycled off twice for me before leaving . I did talk to the customer about replacing her oiled boiler it’s over 30 yrs old and is not in the greatest shape. But Kurt had already talked to her and I believe we were going to set up an estimate. Everything is back up and running no charge for today’s visit from recall.

Found no surge protection on blower motor , installed Ecm surge protector. Perform precision heat tuneup on Amana high-efficiency gas furnace. Homeowner recently replaced 413 air filter. Checked all electrical connections and components. Clean flame sensor. Found some rust on the burners but still OK. Temperature rise. Blew out pressure switch tubing. Performed combustion test. Gas furnace is working fine at time of service.

Perform precision oil tuneup on 30-year-old New Yorker oil boiler. Checked all electrical connections and components. Replaced 1 gallon by 80 B nozzle. Replaced RF one oil filter. Found some leaks that are not active now, but in pretty rough shape on the domestic side of the boiler, provided estimate to repair. Also, due to the age of the boiler would recommend replacement of oil boiler. How many would like to be contacted to set up appointment to give a replacement estimate. Tested circulator pump. Performed smoke and combustion test. Wheel boiler is functioning at time of service.

Fully assessed loud vibration noise. Went downstairs to geothermal and found variable speed blower motor is failing. Called distributor for pricing and availability. Variable speed blower motor is about $2000 to replace. Geothermal system is about 14 years old and highly recommended to her to replace geothermal system. Set up appointment with our office to give a replacement quote. At this time, geothermal is still functioning, but will not continue to work for long.

Checked all electrical connections and components. Check temperature rise. Tested emergency heat. Checked all electrical connections and components. Check refrigerant pressures and temperature at indoor and outdoor units. Heat pump system is working fine at time of service.

Arrived for no heat. On arrival customer had said he had an error for an open fuse on the system . The Thermostat went blank. He replaced the 3 amp fuse and still no display on the thermostat. I was able to tap into the system using my cool cloud. Found no current errors , the system will run in test mode on the cool cloud for heat . I checked my condensation pump and checked my ez trap for a short . Also disconnected my humidifier to see if the causing an issue. The thermostat is still blank . Recommended in replacement of his thermostat it’s a comfort link (4) wire communication. The thermostat is under warranty and labor charges would be 138.13 for changing the OEM stat. Office will schedule the repair either later today or tomorrow morning. They will be in contact with the customer. The Customers are ok at this time , they have a few other heat sources . Collected for my diagnostic.

Check up on a heat pump system. Checked the air filter and replaced . Checked the wiring connections and the voltages. Checked the thermostat in all heating modes, Performed an outdoor BTU output for the heat pump. Checked the outdoor unit, wire connections and the voltages. Inspected the components and tested the amps draws for the compressor and the fan motor. The heat pump is in good working order.

Ran new gas line from manifold to location of dryer. Installed new dryer vent to location of dryer.

I checked the wiring connections and the voltages. Check the pressure gauge and the temperature gauge. Looked and inspected for any water leaks. Replaced the RF 1 filter, the strainer and the nozzle. I pulled and cleaned the electrodes and set the correct gap for proper firing. Inspected and clean the heat exchanger and the flue pipe. Made sure chimney was clear. Completed a smoke test and tested for combustion. Took indoor heat Temps at return and supply. Everything is working fine at this time.
