Performed tuneup on Bosch heat pump, check indoor blower and cleaned and checked drains and replace filters. Went to outdoor unit and checked all electrical and mechanical components, including compressor and fan motor. Tested refrigerant levels and inverter. No issues with unit this time.

PECO Air Sealing and Insulation Project * Perform blower door test and calculate target for the home. * Remove vinyl and plywood sheathing on overhangs in back of home. Insulate any piping in cavities with pipe insulation before adding fiberglass insulation. Add fiberglass insulation up to 2" foam board to spaces and seal. Put vinyl back into place once completed. * Create dam around walkway with insulation from entry to attic to hvac equipment. * Install blocking around chimney chase, * Install rafter vents at attic roofline to ensure ventilation is not negatively impacted by adding insulation. * Move insulation and air seal attic plane with single part spray foam and place insulation back into place. * Install recessed light covers where needed. * Replace flex and connect to 1 vent fan and run other vent fan to gable end and terminate. * Add more insulation into attic space with blown in insulation to achieve desired value. * Perform test out blower door test

Checked the AC side of the systems. Checked all the air filters and replaced and checked all electrical wiring and voltages. Checked the indoor coils and inspected the drain pans . The condensate drains on all units were water tested . Checked all the blower operations and amps. Inspected the outdoor unit coils and inspected the wiring connections and voltages for all units . Tested the pressures by using superheat and subcool methods and checked the amps for the compressor in the fan motors on all units . Checked the indoor cooling temps at the supplies and returns for all units, both AC units are working fine at this time of service

Performed quality assurance on recently installed geothermal unit. Check all electrical connections and components. Check water pressure/temperature in/out ok test back up heat. (Customer turns breaker to off position for electric heat). Test safety on pump and ez trap ok. All wiring is neat. Run unit on heat and cool ok emergency het ok.

Upon arrival I performed maintenance on both AC systems. Cleared and tested condensate drain lines. Added treatment tablets to crawlspace unit at homeowners request. Changed homeowner supplied 413 space guard air filter. Did not change 1 inch air filter for crawlspace unit since homeowner changes it himself. Inspected electrical components and connections on indoor units. Inspected evaporator coils and drain pans. Cycled systems in cooling. Checked static pressure and temperature differentials. Proceeded to outdoor units. Inspected outdoor coils and condenser fans. Inspected electrical connections and components on outdoor unit. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures. Both systems are operating appropriately at this time.

Found water pressure down in geo loop to 20 psi, added water to loop now pressure is 40 psi. Also perform precision Geo tuneup on climate master geothermal system. Replaced homeowner provided 30 x 32 x 2“ air filter. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked waterloop temperature split which was 11° very good. Check temperature rise check all electrical connections and components. Tested all the dampers. Geothermal is working fine at time of service.

Estimate

Performed consultation with Chris to review home for performance and insulation issues. Main concern is freezing pipes under overhang in back of house. Peco audit is being performed on Monday. Chris would like all options presented.

Arrived at call for no heat on oil furnace. Checked unit and it is smoking out of the sight door and smoking out of the chimney, is is due to a clogged nozzle and filter. Both need replaced and heat exchanger needs to be swept and vacuumed. An estimate is attached with cleaning price. Tried to reach landlord but they did not answer

Arrived for no heat again on a gas furnace. On arrival the furnace was running. The customer said had come back on, but he just wanted to have it looked at. I went through and checked the thermostat made sure thermostat was ok and the connections . I Checked the customers drain lines and they were good pressure switch was good no water in the tubing. I checked all connections and grounds . I checked the system multiple times fired up every time customer had told me that the system would run the inducer and then cut out. I couldn’t replicate a issue at this time of service. I did show the customer how to look for an error code on the control board. No charge for today service since we were just here. Customer is aware if we have to come back there may be other charges. This can be considered an intermittent issue and may take multiple visits to be resolved.
