Performed consultation with Chris to review home for performance and insulation issues. Main concern is freezing pipes under overhang in back of house. Peco audit is being performed on Monday. Chris would like all options presented.

Arrived at call for no heat on oil furnace. Checked unit and it is smoking out of the sight door and smoking out of the chimney, is is due to a clogged nozzle and filter. Both need replaced and heat exchanger needs to be swept and vacuumed. An estimate is attached with cleaning price. Tried to reach landlord but they did not answer

Arrived for no heat again on a gas furnace. On arrival the furnace was running. The customer said had come back on, but he just wanted to have it looked at. I went through and checked the thermostat made sure thermostat was ok and the connections . I Checked the customers drain lines and they were good pressure switch was good no water in the tubing. I checked all connections and grounds . I checked the system multiple times fired up every time customer had told me that the system would run the inducer and then cut out. I couldn’t replicate a issue at this time of service. I did show the customer how to look for an error code on the control board. No charge for today service since we were just here. Customer is aware if we have to come back there may be other charges. This can be considered an intermittent issue and may take multiple visits to be resolved.

I checked the wiring connections and the voltages. Check the pressure gauge and the temperature gauge. Looked and inspected for any water leaks. Replaced the RF 1 filter, the strainer and the nozzle. I pulled and cleaned the electrodes and set the correct gap for proper firing. Inspected the heat exchanger and the flue pipe. Made sure chimney was clear. Completed a smoke test and tested for combustion. Took indoor heat Temps at return and supply. Everything is working fine at this time.

Installed new geothermal system. Reused return and supply. Reattached water lines to water furnace. Installed new 10kw heat kit and wired up high volt with new outlet. Ran new conensate line with ez trap and new condensate pump. Ran new vinyl tubing from condensate pump to sump pump located in basement. Installed new thermostat and wired in low volt with safeties. Purged water from lines and cleaned up work area. Tested out equipment and went over job with customer. Filter size is 23.5 x 27.75 x 2
Today was our very first time dealing with DiBiase Heating and Cooling company. And we were very satisfied with the overall experience. Dan who was our service technician was very professional and courteous. He was able to answer our questions and explain everything that was happening as he serviced our furnace. He was thorough, good communication, and very down-to-earth. Would definitely recommend this company and will use in the future. Thanks Dan.

Arrived for no heat . On arrival the system was running. I went through the system and found a bit of water in the pressure tube of the pressure switch . I cleared out . This may have caused the system not to run correctly. Also checked the furnace trap and tested . I checked the system operation and tested. Everything is back up and running at this time of service. Collected for my balance of 164.00 paid I left the customer a few recommendations for thermostats and for a contract .

Arrived for no heat on an oil fired boiler . We were here yesterday for a maintenance check up . I checked the oil filter and the strainer and found good , I inspected the nozzle assembly and found good . Found when bleeding the unit it had a lot of air when bleeding . The line comes out of the top of the oil tank , it goes up and over about 10 ft and then down towards the ground to feed the oil filter. Finally got fuel to the system . It fired right up . I made sure the domestic water got hot and made sure all zones were heating . The system cycled off twice for me before leaving . I did talk to the customer about replacing her oiled boiler it’s over 30 yrs old and is not in the greatest shape. But Kurt had already talked to her and I believe we were going to set up an estimate. Everything is back up and running no charge for today’s visit from recall.
