Job Locations and Reviews
No heat gas furnace from 2011. Armstrong heater 90 btu. Customer explain what unit was doing it will work for little bit then shutoff never reach temperature. Found system satisfied upon arrival. Increase thermostat to 73 room temp 65. Heater fired up about 5 minutes running unit cut off on pressure switch. Check positive and negative vacuum on pressure switch -2.45 and -1.5. Wc. Found drop of water on + side of pressure switch. Unit stay running after clearing drain hose after about 10 minutes. Unit cut out on high limit. Dirty filter static pressure on return .92 wc. Removed filter and continued operation. Unit satisfied demand, 73 F. Performed smoke test and unit failed test indication somewhere inside heat exchanger is letting some air into chamber. This issue will affect combustion and potentially stopped heater from running. also indication that carbon monoxide might not be vented correctly. Due to age and condition would recommend getting an estimate to replace system. Customer
Perform quality assurance on recently installed furnace only. Check all the electrical connections and components check static pressure supply air return air. Total static pressure .8 wc looking at the book static pressure it’s about 932 CFM supply air 125 return air 74. Fan speed to default F2. Do not adjust anything systems running under manufacturer specifications. Test condensate pump OK customer had no questions.
Check the air filters and replaced if needed. Checked the wiring connections and the voltages. Checked the fan operation and set up on equipment. Checked and inspected the condensate pump and the furnace trap. Checked the gas pressures for high and low fire and inspected the safeties. Checked the blower and inducer amps and looked at system static. Checked and inspected the flue pipe and tested for combustion . Checked The heat temps at the supply and return. Everything is working fine at this time.
Lock out on failure to ignite on primary control. Reset primary control Boiler was running very fuel rich, clearly visible smoke in flue gasses Cleaned heat exchanger and flue piping, made sure the chimney was clear. Nozzle assembly and nozzle caked and sooted. Replaced nozzle. Made sure electrodes are properly aligned. Started system with pump gauge. Pump pressure was slightly high (150 psi) I adjusted to match spec 140 psi. Made air band and shutter adjustments as necessary. O2 now 5.7% CO2 now 11.5% Smoke test pass System operating well at this time. I let her know that electrodes will probably need to be replaced next year.
Gas furnace tuneup. Checked the air filter and found good . Checked the wiring connections and the voltages . Inspected the burners and flame sensor and igniter. checked the thermostat in heating mode and checked the gas pressures and the furnace safeties. Inspected the flue pipe for corrosion and holes. checked the motor amps on the inducer operation and blower motor . Took indoor heat temp rise and tested for combustion. everything is in good working order at this time of service.
Replaced 80% gas furnace, installed new 96% gas furnace. Ran exhaust pipe to desired location. Capped chimney. Installed condensate pump and vynal tubing. Installed new Gas valve and piping, switch, outlet, surge protector, AA 413 filter. Adapted to supply and return ducts. Checked operation of unit. Cleaned work area. Provided walkthrough with customer. Job is complete.

Performed tune up on trane gas furnace, ran unit in heating mode and checked combustion and gas pressures. Tested blower and inducer motor, checked heat exchanger, cleaned flame sensor, and checked surface igniter. No issues with unit at this time.
Performed tune up on carrier heat pump, ran unit in heating mode and tested heat strips and blower and indoor coil. Tested outdoor unit and compressor as well as outdoor fan motor. No issues with unit at this time.
Gas furnace tuneup on a 90% furnace . Checked the air filter and found good . Checked the wiring connections and the voltages . Flushed the drain lines and furnace trap . Inspected the burners and flame sensors and cleaned . Inspected the flue pipes for leaks and bellies. checked the thermostat in heating mode and checked the gas pressures and the furnace safeties. checked the motor amps on the inducer operation and blower motors. Took indoor heat temp rise and tested for combustion on the system. The furnace is in good working order at this time of service.
