Performed peco tune check electrical low and high voltage connections and components. Filter ok check coils and blower. Check supply and return airflow test 7.5 kw back up heater ok temperature rise on regular heat 18 with outdoor ambient 17 degrees Fahrenheit check static pressure .60 total system static. Check outdoor heat pump refrigerant levels and electrical. Compressor makes noise louder than normal. Bring this to customer attention after minutes of ruining compressor noise was normal. During today’s visit some items were highlighted. System does not have drain trap. Electrical wire coming into air handler does not have metal connector. Outdoor ambient sensor is not in its place. Provided estimate for all the items discussed during Todays visit.

Looked over 3 separate projects hvac related to be done in home. Most priority is redoing duct work in the attic space. Secondary would be re routing 2 - 6” metal pipe runs in basement. Sealing and mastiking all duct on first floor. Third and final job installing a 50 gallon propane water heater with a 26’ long vent to the outside. Will go over information with our office the provide estimates.

Fully assessed heat pump not running. Found in the settings of the ecobee that the outdoor unit was set to a 35° temperature lockout for compressor. Set setting in the ecobee thermostat to disabled so the heat pump will run at all temperatures. Checked over all other settings in the thermostat and found there was a 2.9° factory auxiliary set temp From running strip heater, which was correct. After heat pump came on went outside and checked refrigerant pressures. R32 pressures were 287/88. Checked temperature rise at air handler. Temperature rise was 24 degrees. Also made sure auxiliary heat was not on. Amp reading was only blower motor at 5 amps. Heat pump system is working properly at time of service.

Installed new Goodman airhandler and heat pump with 15kw heat kit. Installed new April wire2410 filter, Adapted return and supply. Tapped/caulked return and supply. Adapted to existing existing drain line and installed new ez trap. Installed new 15kw heat kit and wired in high voltage. Installed new ecobee thermostat and wired in low volt with safeties. Flushed line set and reconnected to new equipment. Installed new heat pump outdoor on leveled pad with snow legs. Installed new dissconect with surge protector and wired into outdoor unit. Cleaned up work area and tested out equipment.

Homeowner said she loses connectivity to the ppm from time to time. The system went down last night. Changed minimum Cfrom250 to 380 Also set AUX heat lockout to 45° Also changed electric heat airflow from Low to MED. There was a minor alert in history one of the possible causes for this alert is low airflow. I made adjustments today. There is an error code for improper placement of compressor dome sensor. Sensor was detached and buried under compressor jacket. I put it back in place. The adjustments I made today should take care of the alerts that were present today, The connectivity problem is a WiFi issue. We reconnected by the end.

Performed tune up on Amana heat pump, checked unit in emergency heat mode and tested heat strips, temperature split, indoor blower motor, and all electrical connections to in the indoor unit. Then went to the outdoor unit and tested all electrical and mechanical components in the outdoor unit and tested refrigerant levels, outdoor fan motor, compressor, and capacitor. No issues with unit at this time.

Estimate

Perform precision heat pump tuneup on 2021 Bosch heat pump system. Replaced 18 x 20 x 1“ air filter. Checked all electrical connections and components tested emergency heat. Homeowner showed me video of the noises. He was hearing from the heat pump from what I heard and from checking out outdoor heat pump everything seems to be in good working condition. Nothing out of the ordinary. Check temperature Rise. Check refrigerant pressures and temperature at indoor and outdoor units. Heat pump system is working fine at time of service. Also provided estimate for UV whole house air purifier.. emailed over information.

Fully assessed heat pump system. Found system only keeping 68° in the home. Heat pump system is a R 22 2009 Duane heat pump. Refrigerant pressures are 236/30. System is slightly low on charge. Compressor is also very noisy. Explain to customer that heat pumps will run constantly when it is this cold, especially r22 heat pump systems but because the system is slightly low on charge, it’s not maintaining temperature. Showed homeowner that the indoor evaporator coil was very rusted and corroded. Recommended to homeowner to replace heat pump system. Set up appointment with our office to give a replacement estimate..

Checked the air filter and replaced . Checked all wiring connections on the board. Inspected the oil filter the strainer and the nozzle and replaced. Check the electrodes and set for proper firing operation and inspected and cleaned the flue pipe and heat chamber. Tested the unit for smoke test and checked combustion and draft. Checked my supply and return temps oil side of the system is working fine.
