Arrived for a 2nd opinion on a heat pump system . I checked the indoor filter , and found good . Electric heat is working . When checking the heat pump side found temp split was about 10° . I went to the outdoor unit and checked my pressures and found almost flat. Customer at this time is interested in having the system replaced ( this is a down flow system ) . She will call to schedule an estimate. I left the thermostat in emergency heat . Also left an estimate for a new contract for her to review. Collected for 99.00 for today’s service.

Performed tune up on 2 Amana gas furnaces, check units in heating mode and tested combustion levels and gas pressures as well as clean flame sensor and drains. Changed filters and tested blower motor, inducer motor and heat exchanger and hot service igniter. Checked burners and checked electrical connections for the unit. No issues with the units at this time.

Turn Power Supply off to the system. Disconnect and remove the control boards for the Indoor Head and for the Outdoor Unit. Install new Control Boards for the system and reassemble the unit. Install new Mitsubishi Thermostat and install new Communication Module at the Indoor Unit. Restore power supply and put system into operation to test. Program and connect Thermostat. Their may be further issues with the system that cannot be determined until the Control Boards and Thermostat have been replaced. *Availability of the Control Boards is 7-10 Business Days being shipped directly from Mitsubishi. Availability of the Thermostat is 1-2 Business Days.* 1/17/25. Remove all 4 boards from mini split heat pump. Installed all new boards and thermostat. Set up thermostat. Tested operation in heating mode. Found system running at about 109 degrees. Heat pump system is working fine again at time of service.

Installed and wired relay and resistor into board for trance heat pump, tested system thoroughly after repair. Then cleaned and vacuumed entire oil fired boiler and tested unit out before departure. No issues with oil boiler at this time. Customer has a bad oil gauge and there’s no price in the book, it looks like she out of oil but she said the gauge is broken

Fully assess no heating situation. Went upstairs on rooftop and found outdoor unit not coming on. Found heat pump locked out on high pressure lockout. Reset heat pump And found 410 a refrigerant pressures were 362/89. Pressures were good and heating but when I switched heat pump into defrost mode, reversing valve would not change over. Replacement of outdoor heat pump and indoor txv, Our office to provide estimate. For now, recommend running system in emergency heat mode.

Additional Wiring repair completed for Sprinkler Room

Removed old furnace and strapped existing coil to joist. Set new furnace in new 30x30 drain pan. Installed custom transition between furnace and coil. Adapted to existing gas line and checked for leaks. Adapted to existing 2" vent pipes. Made all high and low voltage connections to unit. Wired all safeties in series to break 24v R call to thermostat. Performed all test put procedures cleaned work srea and reviewed installation with homeowner.

Perform precision heat pump tuneup on Amana and Lennox heat pump systems. Replaced 15 x 20 x 1“ air filter. 210 air filter for first floor. Homeowner just replaced. Provided estimate to service air humidifier with number 35 pad, homeowner said he will replace pad. Checked all electrical connections and components. Checked temperature rise on both heat pump systems. Tested emergency heat on both systems. Found no surge protection on X 13 blower motor for first floor System ,provided estimate. Tested both systems in defrost mode. Check refrigerant pressures and temperature temperature at indoor and outdoor units. Homeowner mentioned that sometimes first floor heat pump is loud outside did not notice this during visit .Both heat pumps are working at time of service. .

Performed tune up on Amana heat pump, tested unit In emergency heat mode and tested heat strips, temperature split, blower motor, and checked indoor coil and changed filter. Went to outdoor unit and checked all electrical and mechanical components in the outdoor, tested compressor, refrigerant levels, capacitor and outdoor fan motor. Checked defrost and tested amperage’s for motors. No issues with unit at this time.
