Found electrodes worn down on Weil McLain boiler, Replaced electrodes. Also perform precision oil tuneup on one oil, furnace, and one oil boiler. Vacuumed all set from smoke pipe and heat exchangers and vacuumed chimney base. Replaced point 60 x 80 B nozzle and 1.25 x 80 B nozzle. Performed smoke test. Replaced our F1 oil filters. Performed combustion test. Both oil systems are working fine at time of service.

Add refrigerant to system this includes up to 3 lbs of 410 with injection of dye. Any additional refrigerant 93 dollars per lb. 2/18/25 Luis and Nate return visit to add refrigerant and die to the system. Total of 6 pounds were added 410a refrigerant also dye were added on todays visit. We will check for leaks during ac tune up ( some time in April).

Estimate

Employee Breakroom Unit making grinding noise. Found system off upon arrival reset disconnect and note as noise was coming from the blower motor. Try to get to the blower motor, but was not successful. Told Bill that I cannot do anything. Most likely the issue is blower motor and wheel. Most likely the entire unit needs to come down from ceiling.

Fully assessed no heating situation. Found nothing running. Check for 240 V at air handler and did not have it. Found 100 amp breaker tripped to air handler. Reset breaker and tested operation. Strip heater was drawing 61 A. Heat pump alone was doing a 25° temperature rise. Did not see any burnt wires or anything to be concerned about. Explained to homeowner that if breaker would trip again would consider replacement of 100 amp circuit breaker. Heat pump is working fine again at time of service.

Fully assessed no heating situation. Found furnace running when I arrived but thermostat was 10 degrees off from set point. Homeowner is doing construction on the home and the air filter was caked with dust. Homeowner then replaced aprilaire 413 that he had. Found furnace lighting but then shutting off even after replacing the air filter. Found flame sensor was pitted and in rough shape. Recommend replacement of flame sensor. Furnace is 10 years old and is getting older. Installed new flame sensor and tested operation. Checked temperature rise. Performed combustion test. Gas furnace is working properly at time of service.

Performed tune up on Bosch heat pump, tested unit in emergency heat mode. Checked heat strips, blower motor, and all electrical components in the indoor unit. Went to outdoor unit and checked refrigerant levels, and all mechanical components in the outdoor unit. Went to older rheem system and checked units heat strips, blower motor, and indoor electrical connection. Went to outdoor and tested refrigerant levels, outdoor fan and compressor and all electrical components. Noise customer was hearing is due to unit being mounted on a wood platform connected to the house and it is shaking . If I lift up on the platform slightly the shaking stops. Noise was only noticed Wednesday and is no longer an issue and a significant amount of ice was built up on pad but has melted since then, entire pad would have to be removed and rebuilt and outdoor unit would have to be reinstalled. Told customer to wait until unit gets replaced.

Installed ecm surge protector for lobby unit and re piped entire condensate drain and wired in safety. Systems were tested after repairs.

Performed a QA on a heat pump system. Took photos of the equipment and looked at the overall install of the indoor unit and the outdoor heat pump. Looked at the wiring connections and the voltages. Inspected the drain lines and tested the condensation pump. Inspected the air filter. Looked at temp splits for the system . Outside unit checked the disconnect and the outdoor unit level and made sure all connections are sealed and wiring was completed in a neatly fashion. Refrigerant Charge was good and checked compressor and fan amp draws. New equipment is working fine at this time of service

Perform precision heat tuneup on amana and Luxaire heat pump systems. Replace 20 x 22 x 1“ air filter and 16 x 20 x 1“ air filter. Checked all electrical connections and components. Found no surge protection on ECM blower motor for lobby. Unit provided estimate to install surge protector. Also found no trap on condensate drain on Luer air handler, provided estimate to install ez trap. Tested capacitors. Check refrigerant pressures and temperature temperatures at indoor and outdoor units. Both heat pumps are working fine at time of service..

Performed tune up on air temp oil furnace, changed nozzle and filter, checked nozzle assembly and all ignition related components. Customer disassembled and vacuumed entire flue pipe and passages. No issues with furnace at this time.

Performed tune up on trane heat pump, checked unit in emergency heat mode and checked heat strips, indoor blower motor and indoor coil. Tested temperature split and went to outdoor unit and checked all electrical and mechanical components. Tested compressor,capacitor,fan motor, and refrigerant levels. No issues with unit at this time.

Completed heat tune up for modulating 100,000 BTU natural gas furnace: Humidifier has been off this summer. Aprilaire 35 water panel in Good condition. I opened bypass damper, and set humidistat to target 35% RH. Operating well at this time. Left estimate for humidifier service which will be needed next winter/heat tune up. Close the bypass damper when summer comes. Replaced Aprilaire 413 filter Inspected burner, heat exchanger, inducer assembly Cleaned flame sensor, verified flame rectification circuit Ignitor in good condition, reading proper ohms Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components: left estimate for blower motor surge protector Measured temperature rise and static pressure Combustion and draft tests: Pass System operating well at this time.

Reviewed thermostat and found error indicating defective sensor on outdoor unit. Disassembled outdoor unit an inspected dome sensor. Found in place and reading 9200 ohms of resistance. Checked all thermostat settings. Put back into service and tested operation. Called Brian M to find solution. There is a unit in K of P we can get sensor from .Scheduled with customer for Tuesday afternoon.

Six month inspection for Bosch inverter. Aprilaire 213 filter ok. Set humidistat to 35%. Set water flow from feed valve properly. Opened bypass damper. Aprilaire 35 water panel in good condition. Coils in good condition. Measured temperature rise (68-99 in HP mode) and static pressure. Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components. Blower motor and outdoor unit have surge protection. Measured amp draw. Checked refrigerant charge/ pressures at outdoor control. System operating well at this time. Set electric water heater element to just slightly give “Hot”. Upper element thermostat was set a little low. She said after was just a little under where she would like it. If this doesn’t work we can offer tank booster,

Rezner heater not working again. Found pilot off upon arrival. Inspect burners. Noticed soot inside heat exchanger. Performed smoke test noticed all the smoke is coming back. This is why pilot keeps shutting off. Found small hair crack on heat exchanger. System is from 2001 called manufacture to find parts availability. Found out they no longer produce these parts for this model. We will provide an estimate to replace the rezner heater. 10 in flue pipe. No charge recall.

Completed heat tune up for 80,000 BTU natural gas furnace. Replaced 16x25x1 filter. 16x25x1 fits well in filter rack. Recommend replacing every 3 months. Bypass damper is open. Humidistat target setpoint 35%. Tested operations. Water flow is set properly. This should be done every year. System operating well at this time. Homeowner paid for plan renewal and humidifier service today.

Arrived call for issue with oil smell, assessed the area and found oil in the return duct leading to the smell all through the house, me and Joe discussed solutions and came up with me pulling the blower climbing inside the return and wiping down the duct by hand. After entire return duct was cleaned I went to the other side of the wall and vacuumed all of the oil dry and put down power and let it sit before vacuuming it up. Went to the registers in the house with customer to show him the vents no long smell like oil and he seemed satisfied with the repairs.

Upon arrival, found blue wire going to the upstairs unit shorted removed from circuit also in adequate airflow to the upstairs unit bedrooms, and I turned up the airflow as high as it could go . Installs look good and everything tests out .

Arrived at call for no heat on oil fired hot air furnace, system was in hard lockout for too many ignition attempts. Reset control and found a substantial amount of air in the lines. Once all air was bled out the unit fired right up and combustion analysis was performed and a slight adjustment was made to burner in order to get a good combustion test. No other issues present at time of service. Noticed water heater is from 2010 so an estimate was created for replacement.

Installed 2 new Goodman Gas furnaces. Reused return drops and made a transition between the furnace and coil for both systems. Adapted to existing gas line and adapted to the 4” vent pipe. Installed blower surge protector on both systems. Installed new Honeywell T4 Pro thermostat for both systems. Checked operation, cleaned work area

Arrived for oil leaking . Customer had an oil filter that was leaking oil we had replaced it yesterday at a service call . So Jen the customer got oil today , it started leaking from the oil can . I believe we had a defective oil filter and gasket. I cleaned up the base of the unit , the return and the surrounding areas of the furnace used absorbing pads and oil dry to help clean the oil leak . I bled and started the system back up . The system is running like normal at this time . No charge for today’s service .

Arrived for a recall on a new system . Found an error code on the thermostat for a dome sensor error . I had talked to tech support and found that the dome sensor is shorted and needs to be replaced under warranty for new system . No charge for today’s call . I reset the system and showed the customer how to use her emergency heat if needed.

Fully assessed no heating situation. Found outside Roth tank reading a quarter tank of oil. Had some oil at the bleeder. System hadn’t been serviced in about a year recommended at least replacing nozzle and oil filter. Replaced point 60 x 80 b nozzle. Replaced Rf1 oil filter. After changing them found no oil at the bleeder. Oil line goes in the top of the Roth tank and may not go the entire way to the bottom. Homeowner Called to try to get an emergency delivery, but no one can come out. he is going to run out and try and buy diesel and bleed the burner himself need to follow up with customer tomorrow to make sure he got it running.

Upon arrival found system heating supply temp at 99. House at 55 degrees set at 65. Checked all settings and tested system. Found blower foam packaging still attached to blower. Removed and retested. Supply temps now at 133. And running to standards.
