Schedule Emergency Heating Repairs For Carbon Monoxide Leaks in Exton
There are many risks to running your heater in the winter months. While these can adequately keep your house warm, they also pose risks to your household.
One of the biggest threats is a carbon monoxide leak. Carbon monoxide leaks can happen suddenly. If this occurs, it can be incredibly dangerous for your family – even deadly.
In a heating system, combustion occurs in the heat exchanger, and air circulates around the outside of the unit. If there is a crack in the heat exchanger, then the combustion is incomplete, and it can create a carbon monoxide buildup. If this creates a leak, it can put your family at risk.
When you need emergency heater repair services, call our company for help. DiBiase Heating and Cooling Company provides the ultimate customer experience in Exton, PA. We guarantee 100% of your satisfaction!
Symptoms That Indicate You Need a New Heater
Do you need to replace your heater ? It’s essential to watch for key symptoms. Our experts recommend watching for the following signs:
- An aging unit: If your unit is nearing the end of its lifespan, it can be time to replace it.
- Rising energy bills: If your monthly utility bills are increasing, it can indicate your unit is working too hard to warm your home.
- Bad indoor air quality: If you’ve noticed more respiratory issues while you’re in your home or seen more dust piling up around your house, it can indicate your system is not adequately removing particles from the air.
- Uneven heating in your house: If you notice hot and cold spots around your home, it can indicate your unit is not efficiently heating your house.
- Odd smells: If you start to smell exhaust or foul odors, it’s time to replace your system.
Key Components in Your Heat Pump
Numerous parts of your heat pump perform essential functions. Some key components can include:
- Outdoor unit: The outdoor unit contains a coil and a fan.
- Indoor unit: The indoor unit, or the air handler, also includes a coil and a fan.
- Refrigerant: Refrigerant absorbs and rejects heat as it circulates through the system.
- Compressor: This pressurizes the refrigerant and moves it through the unit.
- Reversing valve: This changes the refrigerant flow, allowing the unit to switch between heating and cooling.
- Expansion valve: This regulates the flow of the refrigerant as it passes through the system.

Should You Repair or Replace Your Water Heater?
Deciding whether to repair or replace your water heater can be challenging.
If your water heater is less than 10 years old and experiencing minor issues like inconsistent heating or small leaks, a professional repair may be the best solution.
However, if your unit is over 10-15 years old, frequently breaking down, or no longer meeting your household’s hot water needs, replacement is often the more cost-effective option.
Upgrading to a new, energy-efficient model can improve performance, lower energy costs, and provide reliable hot water for years to come. Contact DiBiase Heating and Cooling Company to assess your system and help you make the best decision for your home.
Which Water Treatment System Is Right for Your Home?
Choosing the right water treatment system depends on your home's specific needs.
Consider a whole-home filtration system if your water has an unpleasant taste, odor, or visible impurities.
For homes dealing with hard water issues—such as mineral buildup on plumbing fixtures and appliances—a water softener is an ideal solution to protect your home’s water system and improve water quality.
DiBiase Heating and Cooling Company offers both filtration and softening solutions, tailored to ensure your home receives the best possible water treatment. Contact us today to learn which system is right for you!

Kurt went out of his way late Saturday night to help with hvac issue at my home. It was going to be cold/snowy out tonight and honestly felt like he wanted to come out and help. When he arrived he was more than respectful, friendly and personable. My very curious 2 year old and him had a full conversation in the basement while he was doing his test. Ultimately , the problem was fixed and he left a great first impression for DiBiase. I will be asking for him for any future visits if needed.

Nathan was a great technician. He talked through the issues with me and got our heater working very quickly. Would highly recommend!

Providing fast, thorough, and friendly service is what we strive for every day. We truly appreciate your recommendation and look forward to helping you again whenever you need us!
I could not be happier with DeBiase. Our furnace was having issues yesterday, and Kurt is the technician who helped us on day one. He replaced a couple things trying to get our furnace running. Without explaining in a long drawn out story, on day 2, there was a big problem that came from replacing one of those parts. And it really wasn’t anyone’s fault, just bad luck. So Dan came by day 2. It was a pretty unusual problem. He went above and beyond with checking/cleaning everything, and got the furnace working. The cleaning isn’t “perfect” but it’s an imperfect scenario. Both techs were very thorough and professional. Their work was clean, they were honest, and personable. Felt like these guys really care about the customer, and the quality of work they deliver. I didn’t sign up for a contract or anything yet, but I will not be going anywhere else for my HVAC needs in the future. Thanks again, guys.
Was on time, very polite and knowledgeable.
Kurt was highly responsive today (New Year’s Day) when my heat stopped working. He is real nice but also demanding on himself when diagnosing equipment. He seems like a great problem solver. Thank you!
Tim was very thorough in diagnosing the problems with our heaters and working to repair them.
I received a quick call back and scheduling for service at our facility. Luis has been here before and every time has been a pleasure to work with, his knowledge of our equipment and the systems have helped get things up and running very quickly. He explains the situation and what is needed so I'm confident of the repairs.
Excellent work by the DiBiase team (Conner and Liz). We used them to insulate our house. Very professional outfit. Very polite, friendly and kept the entire house very clean while they did their work. I would whole heartedly recommend them.
Hello Shashank! Thank you for your thoughtful review and recommendation! We’re glad Conner and Liz delivered professional, courteous service while keeping your home clean throughout the insulation process. Providing top-notch customer care is always our goal. We appreciate your trust and look forward to helping you with any future HVAC needs!
My furnace stopped working Sunday night 11/24. I called DIBIASE 1st thing Monday morning. They were excellent in sending a service technician over right away. Unfortunately the technician had no idea how to troubleshoot my furnace. He said the reason it wasn’t working was due to my licensed electrician installed a dimmer switch 5ft. From my thermostat that he caused the power to be cut off from my thermostat by installing the dimmer incorrectly shorting out my thermostat. So, I had my electrician return on 11/26 at $160/hour. He rechecked his wiring and told me it was so totally impossible that the dimmer light switch would cause my thermostat not to work as with very little inspection told me THE LIGHT SWITCH AND THE THERMOSTAT ARE ON 2 SEPARATE ELECTRICAL CIRCUITS WIRED TO 2 SEPARATE CIRCUIT BREAKERS IN MY BOX! Why didn’t Tim know this? Why did he advise me to call my electrician to return to fix a light switch to repair my furnace? I’m not paying $84.15 service call fee and due to the very poor advise from DiBiase’s technician DiBiase needs to reimburse me for a useless visit from my electrician charge for $160.00. CALL ME ASAP TO STRAIGHTEN THESE EXPENSES OUT. Thomas Matyjasik
Dan is very clear and precise and knowledgeable and extremely easy to explain
Very good service, prompt, responsive, respectful, and good reasonable price. Thank you Tony
Good service, conscientious workers.
Luis returned to one of my properties after the tenant overslept and did not hear him at the door. He is genuinely interested in providing excellent service and can seamlessly deal with unforeseen situations. Can’t ask for better service than that!
Excellent & Professional
Hvac tune up service
Nathan was very personable. He was on time and did a thorough job.
Really nice guy who knows quite a lot and answered any question. Seems like a real quality professional and I’d definitely have him come back for future tune-ups. Five stars!
Dan was on-time, courteous and explained all that he did on the visit!
Luis is a very competent and conscientious technician. He was able to check our compressor problem and determine the root cause which saved us time and money. Moving on to the next assignment he attempted to boost start a failing a/c unit and was able to realize that it would be cheaper and more effective to just replace the unit. He communicated with me about the work he performed and we couldn't be happier to have him here to assist us.
very good service, on-time, professional, respectful
Joe and I toured the facility looking at the possibility of installing mini split units as a replacement for our current system. We discussed the placement and installation of the new system. Joe was very thorough about all the details involved.
The team of Luis, Ed, and Travis got right to work with the a/c problems we are having. Team was friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough.
Luis did a great job looking at the problems we had and either fixed it or explained the root cause.
