I called DiBiase for "no heat" and they sent a service technician right away. Dan arrived and determined the issue was the burner motor on a 19 year old furnace. They were able to order the part and Dan had it installed the next day and the furnace is now working fine. Fixing it was $8K less than purchasing a new furnace, and hopefully my furnace lasts at least 2 more years so the part pays for itself.

Installed low ambient kit for basement outdoor unit. Test operation of system, ok cycle ac unit ok. Fan speed is reduced based on coil temperature.

Estimate

Upon arrival, I installed new air scrubber cell. Added PVC fitting to humidifier drain to make it more secured. System is operating appropriately at this time.

Installed 04/15/24 Turn power supply off to unit. Disconnect and remove the failed Riello Burner Motor. Install a new Burner Motor and complete electrical connections. Put system into operation and test. Perform Combustion Testing on furnace and cycle unit. Once the Motor has been replaced we will be able to test the system and determine if there are any other issues that cannot be determined until the new motor has been installed. *Burner Motor is 2-3 Business Days out from the Manufacturer.*

Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures. Inspected outdoor electrical connections and components. Inspected outdoor coil and condenser fan. System is operating appropriately at this time supplying an appropriate temperature drop. Collected payment for membership renewal.

(Customer has gas boiler for heat) Performed ac tune up on 2.5 ton Amana ac unit (air handler attic and outdoor) check electrical connections and components low and high ok. Inspect filter 213 and indoor coils. Customer will replace filter. Add tabs to drain pan. No access to flush trap. Provided estimate to install drain safety trap. (Could see water not draining correctly drain line is not pitch 100% away from unit.) adding ez trap will add safety in case drain backs up due to line not fully pitch. Check supply and return airflow and temps.

Performed ac tune up on two carrier units. Check electrical connections and components low and high ok. Box filter for first floor ok. Replace second floor 16x25x1. Flush drain ok check supply and return air temperatures ok. Check outdoor unit refrigerant levels and pressures ok. Clean coils capacitor and contactor ok. Noticed air scrubber does not have separate transformer, quoted for Installation of 120 volt transformer for air scrubber. Customer approved estimate, added high voltage step down transformer and add 3 amp fuse cycle operation ok. Side note both ac units do not have drain protection, drain pipe have lot of fittings could potentially get clogged aften. Customer could install ez traps for extra protection.

I had a PECO energy audit and found that my attic insulation was insufficient (I did notice that the upstairs felt cooler than the thermostat temp). DiBiase is on the list of PECO recommended contractors for this and they did a fantastic job adding insulation, putting in rafter vents to ensure circulation etc. Joe was very responsive and followed up with me quickly to schedule an appointment for an evaluation and estimate. I also had some sealing done in the basement. The crew was terrific, they were on time, organized and did not leave any mess. A before and after photo to show part of the work...
Thank you, Steve! We're so glad to hear you had a great experience with our team. Joe and the crew work hard to ensure quality service, and it’s great to know you’re happy with the insulation and sealing work. We appreciate your trust in us and your detailed feedback. Had Kurt Manges a technician from Dibiase heating and cooling perform a service check of my new system i had installed, vert punctual with the time slot i gave them, and very knowledgeable and informative of my system. Recommend Dibiase for any heating / cooing needs !
Luis got there early, found and fixed the problem and checked in with me when complete. Excellent!
I couldn’t be happier with the service Nathan provided today. Timely and high-quality, especially in comparison to another company that I had a contract with who didn’t even call me back for 3 1/2 hours after I left a message saying my heat was completely out, or the company that installed the system who would not have been able to service it until tomorrow.
I called DiBiase when my heater was not working properly. They sent the technician on time and all tool. Barry was an amazing person. He gave me good knowledge on how to switch duct flow during summer and winter. Very honest in his work too. I would highly recommend DiBiase for HVAC services
