Arrived at call for a comfort is. Customer states unit runs a lot. Found filter was completely clogged with dry wall dust from the basement that got finished in October, he also has thermostat set to 72 degrees, told him to check filter after I just changed it in a week or two and to set the thermostat to 70 degrees especially when it is really cold like it is.

Replacement of supply sensor for the zoning panel EWC, replaced sensor and tested it and tested unit fully. Collected balance and spoke with customer before leaving.

Replaced thermostat, wiring and controller, re set thermostat and set WiFi parameters. Tested thermostat and ensured customer has access through phone.

Perform precision heat tuneup on York high-efficiency gas furnace in basement and Amana 80% gas furnace in attic. Both air filters were just replaced by homeowner. Clean flame sensors. Check temperature rises. Blew out pressure switch tubing. Found inducer motor on 2012 York gas furnace is pretty noisy, made up estimate to replace inducer motor. Also took video of noise. Tested blower capacitor check resistance of HSI. Performed combustion test. Both gas furnaces are working fine at time of service. Would recommend starting to think about replacement of first floor, gas furnace.

Perform precision, heat tuneup on Utica, Propane, gas boiler, And Bosch heat pump system. 201 air filter is ok. Checked all electrical connections and components. Check temperature rise. Tested zone valves on gas boiler. Inspected burners and brushed. Checked all refrigerant temperatures heat pump system at digital control board. Checked operation of circulator pump. Performed combustion test. Both systems are working fine at time of service.

Fully assessed no heating situation when I arrived. Found Sensi thermostat that was installed by someone else a few years ago. Gave system a call for heat and found the AC running. Found failed Sensi thermostat. Talk to John about thermostat replacement options between ecobee or at just a basic Honeywell T6 programmable thermostat. He decided to go with installing Honeywell T6. Installed and tested operation performed combustion test. Gas furnace is working fine at time of service.

Installed new Aprilaire 600m humidifier. Installed humidistat provided with humidifier. Ran new wire from humidistat to humidifier solenoid. Ran new wire from furnace terminals w and c to humidistat wire nutting commons together. Ran new water line to hot water pipe on water heater with new valve. Ran 1/2” vinyl for humidifier drain. Installed humidifier bypass. Installed humidifier pad and checked humidifier for proper drainage and operation during heating. Set humidistat to 35%. Wired in new Intermatic ag3000 surge protector and new wet switch safety. Reviewed all work done with homeowner.

Fully assessed no heating situation. Found gas furnace running when I arrived but locking out on an e 04 error code. ( locking out on high limit). Replaced very dirty 16x25x1 air filter and tested operation. Temp rise is now 60 degrees, very good. Performed combustion test. Gas furnace is working properly at time of service. Emailed over membership plan info.

Arrived for house not heating on first floor found first floor was reading 64° was set to 72. I went to the furnace filter was dirty. Remove the filter and replaced with new. I checked and tested both zones to be sure they were working properly and showed the customer how the zones . As soon as the filter was changed, you can see the temperature is rising again on the thermostat. I Checked my thermometer with the room temperature , and the room temperature is correct. Everything is back up and running at this time of service did offer a service contract. Left one in the estimate for them to review.

Customer has to reset rollout switches every morning, check system operation supply, return air temperatures, combustion test, gas, pressure, burners, inspect heat exchanger after troubleshooting found out that the unit especially with one zone calling. Temperature gets to hot that potentially triggers rollout switches. I activated the EWC supply temperature sensor in adjusted to 135° temperature so the unit will cycle on and off base on supply temperature. Provided estimate to replaced supply sensor and also adding 8 inch round bypass.
