Completed 6 month inspection for 3.5 Ton Amana AC system: Indoor coil and furnace was replaced; outdoor unit was not (Installed 4/7/22). *Plumbing leak flooded out original indoor equipment. Replaced 16x25x1 filter Indoor and outdoor coils in good condition Inspected wiring, controls, electric motors and components; left estimate for surge protector for outdoor unit. Indoor blower motor has surge protector. Drew agreed. Completed work today. Installed surge protector at outdoor disconnect. Tested systems Measured temperature split and static pressure Inspected drains; clears EZ trap, tested pump; added treatment tabs to drain pan. Checked integrity of compressor motor (mega ohm test) Assessed refrigerant charge checked pressures. AC system operating well at this time.

Performed tune up on Goodman ac, tested indoor blower, temperature split, and checked and cleaned drains, went to outdoor unit and tested compressor snd fan motor. Tested capacitor and refrigerant levels. No issues with unit at this time.

Upon arrival, I found thermostat set for 68 while room temperature was 71. Increase temperature to 76 to cycle heat pump. Heat pump was operating appropriately at this time with an appropriate temperature rise. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures. Compared refrigerant pressures to chart and found they were within specifications. Cycled auxiliary heat and checked temperature rise. Temperature rise on auxiliary heat was appropriate. Cycled system in cooling to ensure proper operation in cooling. changed settings and schedule because there was a setpoint for the heat to go down to 62. Reconfigured schedule on thermostat and changed auxiliary heat lockout from 20° to 50°. System is operating appropriately at time supplying an appropriate temperature. changed 413 spaceguard air filter.

Performed ac tune up check electrical low and high voltage connections and components. Inspect filter 413 ok. Turned off humidifier for season, inspect indoor coil, flush drain test pump ok. Check supply and return air ok 19 degree split. Check indoor blower ecm. (No surge protection) check outdoor unit refrigerant levels and pressures 410A ok. Check capacitor and contactor. Cycle ac unit ok. Went over check list with customer.

Performed tune up on carrier ac, tested indoor units blower motor and tested temperature split and went to outdoor unit and tested compressor,fan motor, capacitor, and refrigerant levels. No issues with unit at this time.

Turned relief valve to side of water heater. Used coupler and 3/4” copper pipe and extended into drain pan. Also installed plug in drain pan and siliconed in place. Showed homeowner what we changed. Water heater is working properly at time of service.
Aaron was prompt and an attention-to-detail serviceman. He multitasked servicing my A/C unit for the season after diagnosing and then installing a new water heater. He was personable and answered all my questions! We were lucky to have him today!

Upon arrival, found water heater had over pressurized and blew pressure relief valve, expansion tank, hot water supply hose and water heater itself was leaking. Presented homeowner with options for replacing her water heater. At homeowners request I drained down water heater and installed new ream 50 gallon silver water heater. Installed new expansion tank that I pressurize to 60 psi to match incoming street pressure. Secured expansion tank with metal strap. Filled water heater and checked for leaks. No leaks were present at this time. Performed AC maintenance while I was on site. Inspected electrical components and connections on indoor unit. cleared condensate drains and condensate pump. Inspected blower assembly and evaporator coil. Inspected but did not change space guard air filter since it was relatively new. Cycled system in cooling and proceeded to outdoor unit. Inspected outdoor coil and condenser fan. Checked refrigerant pressures and temperatures. Inspected electrical compon

Check up on a heat pump system. Checked the air filter and replaced. Checked the wiring connections and the voltages. Checked the thermostat in all heating modes, started with electric heat. Inspected the amps for the heating elements and checked the blower amps and the operation. Took electric heat temps at the return and supply. Performed a outdoor BTU output for the heat pump. Checked the outdoor unit, wire connections and the voltages. Inspected the components and tested the amps draws for the compressor and the fan motor. The heat pump is in good working order.

Arrived to the customer’s home to run a new 25’ line of 6” flex R8 insulation. I removed the wet 6” run out when she flooded her kitchen and discarded. I replaced it with the new insulated flex run . Made sure the flex is secured. The new 6” insulation is completed, Customer paid the balance .

Arrived to look at the customer’s duct work she had a water leak in her kitchen that flooded and got into the run out . She will need new r8 6” flex 25’ box quoted 279.17 she is scheduled for Monday .
