Heat tune up 2Ton Heat pump with 10KW electric heat kit Replaced 20x20x1 filter Indoor and outdoor coils in good condition Inspected wiring and controls. Aux heat amps 40: Good Lockout is 35°F outdoor temperature. Aux heat savings optimization set to 2.9°. Left estimate for surge protector for outdoor equipment Temperature rise with heat pump only is 20° (65°-85°) outdoor temperature 29°: Good Verified defrost cycle Checked refrigerant charge/pressures. I would chalk the aux heat use notification up to the fact that temperatures have been so low last few days. Electric heat is operating as we have designed it with the thermostat configuration. System operating well at this time, Homeowner renewed plan today,
Reviewed estimate with customer and reviewed audit report. Reviewed home with customer. Will review proposal and make changes requested.
Fully assessed no heating situation. Found oil burner locked out on primary control. Remove nozzle assembly and found .65 x 80 a nozzle junk up. Replaced nozzle. Also found 413 air filter very dirty. Replaced with 416 air filter homeowner provided. After replacing nozzle burner started up and started to run, then started to sputter and had air in the line. Fuel gauge on top of tank is reading half tank, but after knocking on tank tank seems empty. Was able to perform combustion test. Homeowner needs to get tank filled and oil to bleed burner and put back in operation.

Fully assessed no heating on third zone, which is mudroom of baseboard. Got homeowner to turn off zone one and zone two and just give zone three a call. After approximately 8 to 10 minutes zone three lit up on board open zone valve and everything started heating. Then got home to bring on zone one and two and everything stayed on. Let homeowner know that the boiler will prioritize hot water, but this issue seem to happen at night. Him to keep an eye on it, but everything is working correctly at this time. No charge as per recent install..
Arrived at no heat call, thermostat was satisfied when I arrived. Turned system on and checked over system, found a very dirty air filter and nothing that stood out from diagnosis. Signed customer up for service agreement
Found condensation 3/8” vinyl hose frozen to the outside. Found ceiling is drywall and no easy way to get to a sewer drain suggested to homeowner to do the Next best thing and to run 3/4 pvc to the outside at a slope to get water away. Also found propane burners rusted and corroded on lp gas furnace provided estimate to repair. First time starting furnace locked out on a code 7 which is failed ignition. Tapped on gas valve and got it to open it was stuck. Explained to homeowner that the propane furnace is 14 years old would recommend replacing gas furnace. He is going to talk it over with his wife.

Rewired and reprogrammed for Y1/Y2 andW2/W3 to stage the Heat Kit. Tested the system in all stages of heating. Tested the existing humidifier. Filled condensate pump and tested discharge. Adjusted the settings on the Rectorseal RSH-50 for Over/Under Voltage occurrences. Reviewed install with homeowner and explained the settings and when the Auxiliary Heat will come on. Customer called in for boiler, not heating up correctly. He tried to reset the boiler couple times boiler came back on. Based on customer explanation temperature never got to the boiler target 180F. When got to site cycle boiler during one trial for ignition boiler did not start. Cleaned sensor. Spec burner everything seems to be good. Run boiler for 30 mins ok. All radiators are getting hot supply temperature at 150. Return temperature 130. Boiler is working under normal conditions. Show customer how to navigate on the screen to take pictures of the status of boiler.
Customer called back in for heater not working again same error code. Found heater not running upon arrival found water in the inducer motor emptied inducer. Check vacuum before empty water and after the repairs .69 with water inducer .98 with inducer clear of water. This time utilize two openings at the drain kit. Noticed a lot of water coming out of the right side of the drink kit when the furnace is running, especially when the system shuts off there’s good bit of condensation dripping back into the traps. This will help eliminate water coming back into the inducer. If water continues to come back into the inducer, we will need to add a two in pvc tee with drain trap.
Customer is having issues with the heat. We were here on Monday. Same issue found furnace on EE0 error code. Too many retries. Reset unit and checked operation could hear a little bit of water in the inducer check vacuum vacuum was not enough to make precious switches clothes remove water from the inducer and unit came on right away vacuum -1.87 water column. Perform combustion test check low high stage OK minutes of running noticed a little bit of water getting back to inducer. Added extra drain kit on top of the furnace exhaust. Now water is not getting into the inducer. Erase error codes from computer. Cycle heater couple times all the times came on with no issues no charge warranty under two-year guaranteed.
Reviewed building and recorded measurements. Need to perform load calculation and compare with existing systems. Mike to email over any diagrams for work to be completed so duct layout and proposal can be created.
Replaced entire air scrubber as the bulb alone would solve the issue. Unit was tested after repair was made
Fully assessed no heating situation on through the wall heat pump system. Found dirty air filter maintenance then replaced air filter. Checked 410. Refrigerant pressures and heating mode. Refrigerant pressures were 265/47. Slightly low on charge. They wanted to just add refrigerant for now. Added 1 pound of 410 provided by the point. Refrigerant pressures are now 305/79 with a 18° temperature rise. Heat pump system is working fine at time of service. Also switched over system into AC mode to make sure suction pressure was good . Suction pressure was 106 which was fine. .
Perform tuneup on oil, fired furnace, disassembled, and cleaned flue pipe and heat exchanger. Replaced nozzle filter and strainer, purged oil line of air and tested oil system completely, including all electrical components in the burner. No issued with oil system at this time, checked. Heat pump system in attic, ran system and emergency heat mode and checked heat strips, indoor blower motor and indoor coil went to outdoor unit and checked all electrical and mechanical components, including outdoor fan motor, compressor, refrigerant levels, capacitor, and defrost cycle.
